Northern University of Business and Technology Khulna (NUBTK) was officially approved as a full-fledged university by the Government of Bangladesh on December 29, 2015. Subsequently, the University Grants Commission authorized the commencement of its academic programs on July 31, 2016. Since its inception, NUBTK has grown into a leading center of excellence in higher education, earning recognition for its academic programs, research contributions and community service. It has gained the trust and confidence of the people, particularly in the southeastern region of the country.

The university offers undergraduate programs in engineering, business, journalism and English, as well as graduate programs in business and English. NUBTK upholds its commitment to quality education by admitting talented students, recruiting faculty with outstanding academic credentials, providing state-of-the-art laboratories and smart classrooms, and integrating advanced computing tools. Moreover, the university fosters strong connections with industries to prepare students to become innovators, critical thinkers, and leaders.
